She stood before the throne of gold and lapis lazuli
Surrounded be numerous golden ornaments
Yet her beauty overshadowed all there present
The smile on her lips lit up the darkness of the room

Her dress was simple and demure, an absence of jewellery
Which only added to her radiant beauty and grace
Wise heads turned to listen as she spoke with conviction
Penetrating their minds as they nodded their approval

All there listened in awe to her well known wisdom
As they admired her simple beauty and elegance
After giving her sage advice to all there present
She turned and walked gracefully from the great hall

Her dress flowing in folds over her lithe body
She walked with total confidence and assurance
Men's hearts beat faster as they watched her leave
Each desiring her, yet knowing she was forbidden

Yes, the Vixen had spoken, given her judgment
All that remained was for the others to consent
None in this great land knew better than she
The heart and mind of the great goddess Hathar

Even Pharaoh himself listened to the Vixen's words
Without discussion or debate her advice was final
For was she not the embodiment of love divine
In matters of the heart her word was law and final

For her heart was golden and her soul so pure
Her words still echoing in the throne room
"I shall marry a man of wisdom from a far off land
There I shall live in love and peace all my days"
