Everything was a glistening crystal white, as if approaching heaven's gates. Flowers and candles lit galore, as the guests standing...patiently for the bride, they wait. Making small talk of the time, silence fills the air as the doors swing open, in she walked, beautiful... A snow-white princess, a banquet of roses held against her chest. Smiling from ear to ear...
How dare she have the nerve to invite me... knowing how I'd feel? She approached the altar, and the priest began the..."I dos"... The crowd sat quietly, at awe by this spectacular event, only one person, one man... Felt that it should end. Each happy enthusiastic...yes... tore at his heart... fists clenched tightly...he was shaking. The piano began playing... It was so fitting...so sad...just like how he felt...Brought back into reality by the priests... words ..."You may now kiss the bride"...He could not take it. He wished and hoped with all his might this would turn out to be a dream...a simple trick of the mind, a fake reality... but he was wrong... they kissed... intertwined... he was holding and kissing the angel I once had...tasting her sweet lips...eyes closed... the pain... Was unbearable. He got up abruptly, shaking from head to toe... all eyes upon him now... he walked into the aisle...turned around and slowly walked away... dropping a white rose before he left the door... never turning back for one last look... Never turned back to tell her how much he truly loved her, never turned back... to show the painful tears she had caused to cascade down his face...Never turned back...He couldn't...It was gone... she was gone...forever.
